Tulsa Techfest 2008

Posted on

It’s that time of year again. Pumpkin patches are springing up, the stores are full of Halloween costumes, the Polka bands are warming up for Oktoberfest, and Tulsa Techfest 2008 is only a couple of weeks away. This is a great event held over two days on the Tulsa campus of Oklahoma State University. There’s tons of .NET-related content and I’ll be there to talk about performance and programming in SharePoint. The event is organized by my good friend David Walker who pulls out all the stops to inform, educate and entertain.

Look for me to host SharePoint Birds of a Feather sessions each day – we’ll round up a panel of experts to answer all your toughest SharePoint questions while you munch some lunch. You never know what might happen at these things – last year found all the speakers doing the Chicken Dance on tables at the local Oktoberfest celebration (and no, Steve Walker, I still don’t believe that it was introduced to America by way of Tulsa – and neither does Wikipedia). So don’t miss out – join us in Tulsa October 9th and 10th!
