SPTechCon – Austin, Texas – April 2-5, 2017
When: April 2nd – 5th, 2017
Where: Austin, Texas
Spring is coming and that means another trip to the great capitol of Texas for SPTechCon 2017. The BZ Media folks do a fantastic job putting this show together – many of your favorite speakers, lots of vendors giving out free prizes, tons of great content and it all happens in a fantastic location. You can bet that we’ll be fetching up some killer BBQ and steaks while we’re in town (not to mention lots of live music) so don’t miss out on this one.
I have a busy schedule for this event. On April 2nd I’ll be presenting a full day development workshop for SharePoint and Office 365. I’ll walk you through the entire development spectrum, from SharePoint apps to Office add-ins, Azure web applications and the new SharePoint Framework. About the only thing I won’t be covering is legacy on-premises development because, well, that’s the old stuff and you want to hear about the new stuff, right?
During the conference proper I’ll be talking about building high-availability farms, revisting some tried-and-true performance best practices, and doubling up on some dev topics around REST and Azure web apps for those who can’t attend the all-day session. There’s a handy graphic at the end of this post with all of my sessions listed plus a discount code to use at registration if you’d like to save a few bucks.
See you in Austin!
