SharePoint Saturday Dallas Wrap Up
Saturday July 25th we hosted the first SharePoint Saturday event at the Microsoft offices in Las Colinas, TX. We had a great turnout and everyone I spoke with seemed to find something of value in the presentations (or maybe it was just the free barbecue – you never can tell).
I would like to personally thank all the speakers, sponsors, and attendees who participated. We couldn’t have done it without the companies and individuals who came from all over the country to pitch in (even as far away as New Jersey). A big Texas thank you to everyone.
Slide decks from the presentations can be found on the Sessions page of the web site. We’ll post as many as we can so keep checking back if the one you’re looking for isn’t there yet.
See you next year!
thanks, Eric for all of your tremendous hard work in planning, organizing, and executing the event. It was a great day and everything went very smoothly thanks to all your efforts.
I would also like to point out that NJ is apparently a lot further from Texas than any of us realized. My flight home, direct from DFW to EWR, took almost 12 hours!!! That included 3 hours circling Cleveland, 1 hour circling Syracuse, 2 hours refueling in Rochester, and another 2 hours circling Newark and waiting for a gate. But it was definitely worth it for a great day of SharePointing in Dallas. I know I certainly learned a few things in other speaker’s sessions. Hopefully next year the trip home won’t be as rough. 🙂
Thanks for the great event and BBQ! I really enjoyed the sessions!
