TechEd 2008

TechEd 2008 in Orlando will be split into two weeks this year – the first week for developers and the second for IT professionals. I will actually be at both events (do I really need two full weeks in Orlando?), working the Microsoft kiosks during the Dev week and manning our own booth during the IT Pro week. I’ve submitted a Birds of a Feather discussion topic regarding SharePoint Performance so if that’s your thing be sure to look for it on the schedule if it gets approved. If not, swing by the WSS booth anytime during the week and let’s have a chat – or just look for my hat, I’m pretty easy to spot.

I’ll also be carrying some CD’s with free copies of Sonar Standard. Bring along your VM’s with the gnarliest performance problems and we’ll load ’em up and do some on-the-spot performance analysis. The best ones will get a free copy of Sonar. Not a bad deal, eh? Knowing how these events go, I will probably be in desperate need of good coffee – anyone who brings me a Quad Grande Americano is probably guaranteed to get a free Sonar license as well (along with my undying appreciation)!
